Dr Surabhi Sharma is a Consultant Dermatologist with a broad background in specialist dermatology, general practice and hospital medicine. She completed her MBBS with First Class Honours at James Cook University, as one of only two candidates in her year to achieve this distinction, and undertook an elective at Stanford University during her medical training.

She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She has completed specialist dermatology training in Western Australia and has experience across tertiary hospitals, skin cancer medicine and general dermatology.

She has a strong academic background, with several peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.

Her special interests include skin cancer detection and removal, acne, rosacea, medical inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, and medical and aesthetic laser treatments. She takes an evidence-based, personalised approach to dermatological care, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for each patient.

Outside of work, Dr Sharma enjoys dancing, travelling and running, and values spending time with family and friends.

Dr Sharma will also be consulting as a locum Consultant Dermatologist at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).
